Darwin Stallions have recruited former All Black Zac Guildford to spearhead their assault on the 2017 Coca-Cola Hottest 7s in World at Land Rover Rugby Park this weekend.
Guildford is 11 times capped for the All Blacks and was in their 30-man 2011 World Cup Squad.
The 27-year-old winger has played 86 Super Rugby matches for the Hurricanes, Crusaders and most recently the Waratahs.
Guildford is no stranger to Rugby 7s having been a member of New Zealand’s 2010 Commonwealth Games Gold Medal Team in Delhi.
The Stallions won’t be relying solely on Guildford with Samoan 7s International Savelio Ropati and former All Black 7s player Luke Masirewa in the side.
Stallions are seeded 7th and will take on Australian Development, Central Queensland Dingoes and Fijian team 3D Nararo in Pool B on Saturday.
