Palmerston’s Thomas Roe is this year’s first nominee for the Bendigo Bank/NT Rugby Union Rising Star Award after starting in the Croc’s Round 4 Match against Casuarina.
After two impressive games in the Reserve Grade the 18 year old Prop was elevated into the First Grade starting XV where he played strongly in a powerful forward pack.
Roe held his spot in the side and again had a strong game in Round 5 against Darwin Dragons.
Having progressed through the Club’s junior ranks Roe’s coach from the Under 13’s, Gareth Felton has been his partner in the Front Row.
